We use ours for camping, too, and love it. Unless your style of outdoor bbqing is for hours and hours, using special briquettes or wood chips, etc. it will seem exactly the same. We’ve cooked everything from the usual burgers and chicken to soups or coffee, boiled water, etc. on it- works great.
